Arthritis had crippled Sarah's hands and she didn't believe in credit cards. She needed a set of post-dated cheques written for her condo maintenance fees as well as a few important letters to establishments in England. She also needed some government forms completed. She had gathered her needs and brought Brenda Turino in to help her. The jobs were done in about three hours and Sarah was thrilled to have all these tasks off her plate. - Back to Personal Administration - Mary was invited to a 60th wedding anniversary party for a couple that was very active in many associations that she had been part of for many years. There would be Masons, Shriners and Square Dancers all gathering to celebrate a marvellous couple. But Mary didn't know how she could get from Etobicoke to Oakville. Mary drives to the local grocery store with a boat-sized car, but dares not drive too far out of the neighbourhood. Mary heard about BrendaTurino.com and decided to give her services a try. Brenda herself was available - she picked Mary up at 2 p.m. and off they went to the party. Brenda blended in and kept an eagle eye on ensuring that Mary was well looked after. She made sure that Mary had her ginger-ale as Mary chin-wagged with her friends. Brenda drove Mary back home at 7 p.m. Mary was so happy to have had the chance to go to this special event and see so many of her old friends! Susan was terrified of the dentist. The time came when she needed to see a specialist in downtown Toronto. She strongly felt she could not chance the subway and she didn't drive, so she was going to order a cab. However, the last few times she had taken a cab, she was very uncomfortable because she couldn't communicate with the driver and the cab was quite dirty. She wanted someone to be good company, not just give her a ride. She remembered hearing Brenda Turino speak at her Seniors Club, and decided to call her. Brenda was available, and she sat with Susan and chatted to her while she anxiously awaited her appointment. Afterwards, Susan was so grateful she invited Brenda to lunch on the way home. Susan tells us that she will schedule her next downtown appointment with Brenda Turino, as it was wonderful to have someone with her every step of the way. Julie, aged 85, had a sister in Lindsay and another in Burlington. Both had failing health, and Julie knew that she needed to see them. But how? Although Julie drove a little, she didn't drive on the highway. She had no children and she could not impose on her friends to drive that far. Julie called BrendaTurino.com. At 9 a.m. on a Tuesday morning, Julie was picked up and driven directly to the hospital in Lindsay where she had a wonderful visit with her sister.
