If you need someone to help you throughout the entire process, Brenda will be there at your side every step of the way.
In your time of need, you may find that you feel overwhelmed, emotionally distraught or bewildered as to what to do. In other cases, you may know what to do, but just feel that it is too much for you to handle, perhaps due to health issues, fragility or business commitments. Brenda Turino offers a number of individualized services or you can simply choose to use our All-Inclusive service which assists you right from the first call all the way through to helping you move forward with your life.
You choose what you need…
When you are suddenly faced with a loss and you don't know what to do, call Brenda Turino. She will guide, help, and support you as much as you want or need. Brenda understands how much there is to do in a short amount of time. As a personal Bereavement Administrator she will get what needs to be done, done!
First Call Support
No matter the time, you and your family members will have a warm, empathetic voice to talk to. Someone who can help you gather your thoughts and discuss what to do next.
Home Visit
- Brenda will come to your home and discuss what needs to be done and when and where to begin. From tidying the house, ensuring there is food in the fridge, to making and answering phone calls and arranging the appointment with the funeral parlour of choice, Brenda will handle everything, allowing you time to gather your thoughts and express your feelings.
- When you invite Brenda to your home, she will describe all her services and leave you with a 16-page booklet which is used to summarize your information and your decisions as well as record everything that she does for you. This booklet is yours to keep and refer to.
Funeral Preparation
You can have a Personal Administrator help you as you set up arrangements with the funeral chapel of choice. Brenda will ensure budgets are adhered to and that presentation of your loved one is exactly what you and your family want.
We will help you choose the casket, flower tributes, burial garments, assist with writing the Obituary for the newspaper and coordinate the Eulogies and speeches. We will help you gather the photographs or mementos required for a "Celebration of Life" presentation whether that is digital produced or a visual display board.
Funeral & Memorial Support
Brenda will attend and support you through the viewings, funeral services, wake and burial. She will be a shoulder to lean on, a personal attendant to depend on, and be your eyes and ears. Having a personal assistant through this difficult time allows you to spend quality time with your family and friends.
Nursing Home Clearance
Brenda will escort you to and from the Nursing Home for the last time. She will help you gather the personal articles, disseminate unwanted furniture, clothes and personal effects.
Moving Forward
Re-organization of the home, including important papers, disbursement of the deceased's personal effects and introduction to support services are other ways we can help you and your family move forward. Brenda will help make those initial phone calls to government agencies, banks, insurance companies, etc. and set up "To do" lists to keep you focused. We continue to support you with follow-up calls ensuring that you are moving forward with strength.
All Bereavement Administration services include valet service to and from your home. Unfortunately our Valet Service has no accommodations for the physically disabled.
